Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Boss Bracket platform. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Boss Bracket, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms that may apply. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the platform. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Boss Bracket is a tournament management platform that enables organizers to create and manage youth sports tournaments, including registration, scheduling, live scoring, bracket generation, and payment processing. We provide tools for tournament directors, coaches, parents, and players to coordinate their tournament experience.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use most features of Boss Bracket. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
4. Payment Terms
Boss Bracket charges a 3.5% platform fee on each registration payment processed through the platform. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and all transactions are subject to Stripe's terms and fees.
- Tournament organizers set their own entry fees
- The platform fee (3.5%) is deducted automatically from each transaction
- Refund policies are set by individual tournament organizers; Boss Bracket facilitates refunds but is not responsible for organizer refund decisions
- Organizer payouts are processed via Stripe Connect to the organizer's connected bank account
5. Intellectual Property
The Boss Bracket platform, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Boss Bracket and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit (team names, logos, player information), but you grant us a license to display and use that content to provide the service. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our platform without permission.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boss Bracket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Boss Bracket in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
